Biography

Michael Lam is an astronomer with a broad background in radio astronomy, pulsar timing, gravitational wave science, and astronomical pipeline and cyber-infrastructure development. He completed his BA from Colgate University and his MS and PhD from Cornell University. His primary research is in work on understanding the statistical noise processes for the millisecond pulsars in the North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves (NANOGrav) pulsar timing array.
