Jeremy Gregg

Managing Director, Arabella Advisors.
Member of the SETI Institute Council of Advisors.

Jeremy brings the unseen into view.  As a Managing Director at Arabella Advisors, he serves as a trusted advisor to philanthropists and impact investors who seek returns that cannot be measured by numbers alone.  In his volunteer work in hospice care, he seeks to comfort those who are transitioning to an unknowable future.

And even his lifelong love of poetry stems from a desire to speak a truth that defies language.

“I yearn to know why we are here.”

That yearning led Jeremy, as a teenager, to the SETI Institute – which was the very first organization to which he ever donated. Decades later, Jeremy is honored to join the SETI Institute’s Council of Advisors, where he hopes to bring the institute’s unseen potential into being.

Jeremy is a 3-time TEDx speaker who was previously named the Nonprofit Communicator of the Year by the Center for Nonprofit Management. Recognized as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® by the American College of Financial Services, he is also a Certified Mindfulness Teacher who earned his Executive MBA from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. Jeremy also holds degrees in both English and Advertising from SMU. A passionate advocate for those affected by mass incarceration, Jeremy is also the author of “Daddy’s Time Out,” a children’s book that uses the metaphor of a ‘time out’ to explain incarceration to the 2.7 million kids who have a parent in prison.

“There is no discovery that could more significantly shift the course of human history than learning that we are not alone. I believe this discovery is vital to prolonging the final factor in the Drake equation for humanity, so I am proud to support the SETI Institute,” Jeremy said.
