Milken Institute Asia Summit: Opening the Road to Space for Humanity

As part of the Milken Institute's Asia Summit, Simon Steel, Deputy Director of the Carl Sagan Center at the SETI Institute, will participate in a panel discussion, Opening the Road to Space for Humanity.

This is the golden era for the private space industry. Three private companies now take people into space for tourism, two private companies have docked with the international space station, and thousands more are integral to the space exploration value chain. What's driving companies to push further into our cosmos? What industries stand to gain from expanded space exploration? How can private businesses and governments work together to ensure that future gains accrue to a greater percentage of humanity?
