Time: Friday, Jun 07, 2019 -

Location: Danville, CA

Former NASA astronaut Daniel Bursch is coming to Danville to talk about his experiences in space and to answer your questions!  Bursch has been on four space flights, logging over 227 days in space, including 196 days as a flight engineer on the International Space Station, one of the longest single flights for a U.S. astronaut!  Back in the Earth's atmosphere, Bursch has had an extensive career as a naval pilot.

You can submit questions for Mr. Bursch beginning May 13, by coming in to the library, emailing a question (amiller@ccclib.org), or by registering for the event and submitting a question online.  Registration is not required.

This talk will be moderated by SETI Institute scientist Dr. Margaret Race and will take place from 5:00PM-6:30PM.

Mr. Bursch will speak in the Danville Community Center.  Stay afterward to shoot (paper) rockets into the sky, play with Rec on the Go, and maybe look at the night sky through a telescope.
