Are We Alone in the Universe?

Jill Tarter, Co-Founder of the SETI Institute is the guest speaker! Tarter is widely recognized in the scientific community for her work in astronomy including the Lifetime Achievement Award from Women in Aerospace, two Public Service Awards from NASA, and Chabot Observatory’s Person of the Year award. Also the main fictional character in the movie Contact is loosely based on Ms. Tarter.
