Research Interest

Please choose at least 3 mentors and up to 5 research projects you would like to work with, in order of preference. DO NOT choose the same project multiple times.
You will be evaluated based on your overall qualifications, as well as on how well you fit the selected research project.  So make sure to check the Qualifications section and to discuss in your personal statement how you fit with your preferred project(s). Your personal statement should also briefly describe why you are interested in each of the projects you select.

Scientific Work Experience
List any scientific research experience post high school. Please include research projects you have done as part of a class or laboratory as well as any independent projects you have worked on during the school year or over the summer. Describe the goals of the project as well as the details of your specific contribution. (1000 character limit)
Please give one or more examples of how you have taken a leadership role, whether at your college or university, or in your community. Give specific details. The examples do not need to be science-related. (1000 character limit)
Describe programming experience with specific projects, classes, and number of years. Don't worry if you don't have programming experience - some projects do not require it. (500 character limit)
