Exploration of the Titan Lakes

A SETI Institute Hangout with Nathalie Cabrol (Senior Researcher at the Carl Sagan Center of the SETI Institute), Liam Pedersen (Senior Robotics Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley / NASA Ames Research Center), and Leslie E.  Bebout (Microbial Ecologist at NASA Ames) on the exploration of the Titan Lakes.

Hosted and moderated by Franck Marchis  (Senior planetary astronomer at the Carl Sagan Center of the SETI Institute), the team will describe the Planetary Lake Lander project that aims at developing an adaptive and robotic lake lander to explore the lakes of Titan, a foggy satellite of Saturn.  This mission is an opportunity for planetary scientists to develop and test exploration strategies for future planetary lake landers.
