How it works

1. You transfer cash or securities to the SETI Institute.
   
2. The SETI Institute pays you fixed payments for life.
   
3. The principal passes to the SETI Institute when the contract ends.

• Your annuity payments are guaranteed for life, backed by a reserve and the assets of the SETI Institute.
• Your annuity payments may be treated as part ordinary income, part capital gains income (15%), and part tax-free income, depending on the assets used to fund the annuity.
• You can have the satisfaction of making a significant gift that benefits you now and the SETI Institute later.
