Biography

My introduction to astrophysics was in pulsar astronomy, and finding computation methods to automatically search for pulsars in folded data. I started working with the SETI Institute in the summer of 2020, and wrote utility software for a variety of purposes -- database management, web interfaces, and more. I've done some more software-heavy work, most recently with the Starlink Network Engineering team at SpaceX, and am now working on developing a maser observation pipeline for the Allen Telescope Array in collaboration with other observatories around the world.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, playing the piano and saxophone, and learning languages. Through my work with the Institute, I'm hoping to contribute to humanity's possible discovery of extraterrestrial life somewhere in the cosmos.
