The SETI Institute welcomes G. Scott Hubbard, former director of the NASA Ames Research Center, as the new holder of the Carl Sagan Chair for the Study of Life in the Universe.

What is the ATA?

The Allen Telescope Array is an arrangement of individual antennas whose receiving area can be joined together to create a telescope larger than that at Arecibo, Puerto Rico. It can be simultaneously used for both SETI and cutting-edge radio astronomy research.
