An Update about Pluto on the Eve of New Horizons' Exploration
In 2015, the NASA New Horizons spacecraft will fly by the dwarf planet Pluto and its complex system of satellites.
Join us for a Hangout OnAir with our guests Will Grundy, astronomer at the Lowell Observatory who studies icy outer solar system objects and SETI Institute planetary scientist Angela Zalucha, an expert in atmospheres of planets. This hangout, hosted and moderated by Senior Planetary Scientist at the SETI Institute Franck Marchis, will be an opportunity to discuss perspectives on this flyby and the predictions made by planetary scientists who attended the Pluto conference in July 2013.
