Education
December 2002: Doctor of Philosophy in Planetary Sciences (minor in Geosciences)
The University of Arizona, Tucson
May 1995 : Bachelor of Science in Astronomy and Physics; Boston University
Research Experience
SETI Institute, December 2002 – Present : Research Scientist / Spitzer postdoc . Analysis of thermal emission data of asteroids, comets, Kuiper Belt objects, and planetary satellites.
Other current projects include NIR spectroscopy of Saturnian satellites, analysis of spectroscopic data of Mars, and continuation of Trojan asteroid and Mercury projects.
Univ. Arizona, 1998 – 2002 (ongoing collaboration): Investigation of the surface composition of Trojan asteroids with the use of near infrared (0.8 – 4.0 micron) spectroscopy, including observing and spectral modeling of measurements.
Univ. Arizona, 1995 – 1998 (ongoing collaboration): Thermal emission modeling of Mercury for use in analyzing mid-IR spectroscopic data. Additional near- and mid-IR observations of Mercury are ongoing.
